Austin is home of the Formula-1 event at the Circuit of the America’s. You can take your talents to the kart by organizing a thrill-seeking, competitive battle at K-1 Speed!. Located just North near the city’s famous Domain Entertainment District which also includes Top Golf Austin. Check out the site for details but most of the time you can ‘arrive and drive’ their fleet of racers during the day Visit the website to book, but the beauty is you can schedule large private events as well as corporate options. The Escape Room - 5 min Drive from Capitol Villa

The Escape Game: Austin

We did a family reunion in January 2020 and went to this escape room not once but twice! We had so much fun that we needed to conquer another challenge. It’s about a 15-minute walk or 5 mins Uber to the Escape Room from Capitol Villa. We were able to complete the Heist and the hardest level room called Prison Break.

Urban Axes

Location: 812 Airport Blvd, Austin TX

This place is simply awesome. As a male, naturally throwing an axe was something l wanted to try. However, this place is just as cool, friendly and safe for women. You don’t have to have bulging muscles to do this. They have axes in all shapes and sizes. The best part is the Urban Axes is BYOB if you choose, you can also break into teams and have a competition for who has the most accurate throw! This is a crowd favorite and a very underrated activity that is unique in Austin.

Float on the Guadalupe River or San Marcos River

Location: Various

This is a favorite Summertime activity for a lot of our guests. However, early Fall is a little less crowded time to go and get an amazing experience. Floating the River is a fantastic day out, keep in mind you will need to bring Sunscreen and make sure you hydrate adequately. Please contact Capitol Villa owners for personal recommendations on the best way to do this ‘must-do’ experience while visiting during the Summer. You’ll want to plan this activity ahead of time as slots do sell out quickly.

Austin Roller Rink

Location: 11600 Menchaca Rd #101, Austin, TX 78748

Definitely great for kids and adults alike! Bring your group here and rock n roll! It’s a great spot with cool music (requestable) as well as food and drink. You can schedule a private party room as well as enjoy the numerous arcade games. Check out the website as they often do costume themed nights which are a blast.
